Sarpaneva Cast Iron Casserole dish Black 3L

There are few pots quite as classic, stylish and appealing as Iittala's Sarpaneva. Finland's sauna culture has influenced the design and the choice of materials is inspired by Scandinavian nature. When Timo Sarpaneva created this in 1960 he looked back on his grandfathers profession as a smith, but also focused on functionality and the beauty of simplicity. Iittala resumed the production of Sarpaneva's casserole in 2003.

The Sarpavena casserole can be used for generations to come. Partly because of the timeless design, but also because cast iron only becomes better with age. The casserole holds 3 litres and can be used in both cooking and serving.
